Sophisticated design

It can perfectly blend in with any kitchen decor, thanks to its special Chrome housing. It’s also got a strong stand. This feature helps to keep the glass carafe together even when it contains coffee.

Build quality speaks volumes.

If you have been turning the internet inside out for a long-lasting French press, stop looking right here.

The manufacturers have taken great care to ensure the use of high standard materials to produce these french presses. In addition to the heat-resistance and thick borosilicate glass, chrome is used in designing the body and the filters.

It also means there was no plastic used. In filters, plastic may be a pain to clean and a bad health issue.

But Madrid’s chrome filters are very robust, and they do a great filtering job. They will set to work without any wobbly-complaints when you press the plunger down.

However, with inappropriate use, the glass carafe can be broken. Therefore, stop pouring hot water into it and cleaning it while it is still wet.

The best thing about this carafe is that it retains heat much longer than a traditional glass carafe. And after a substantial time lag, you can enjoy a warm cup.

Brewing quality

GROSCHE Madrid French Press

The Madrid misses nothing when we talk about its main function. Brewing coffee takes some time, but the machine manages to catch the coffee’s special flavors even better than a barista can.

For filtering out sediments, the finely designed mesh filters do an excellent job. There is another filter that strains out any escaped particles at the spout as you pour your mug with the coffee. You can enjoy your cup to the last drop without having to struggle with the ground at the bottom.

Nonetheless:

Please make sure the coffee beans you use are of good quality, as we always say. The French Press cannot perform miracles. They brew what’s offered to them.

Also:

Stop using finer terrain. No matter how well the machines are made, they always find their way through the filters. After a few days of keen observation of the French Press, you can change the coffee ground’s coarseness.

The common grip

The producers were so focused on the French Press’s stability that they almost forgot to make cleaning simple.

It is not like you cannot use a dishwasher or have a very quick rinse to clean it. But it may be a little hard to unscrew the beaker from the frame.

It must be because of the rubber ends that are used to hold the beaker in place securely. It would help if you pulled at it a few times, and it will come off.

It will smoothen out over time and come off quickly on its own when it is time for a rinse!

Who should buy this?

If you have a French press with a glass carafe on the market, Madrid is a great option to consider purchasing. With its looks, it has the quality to go with and tastes to please your taste buds.

Who shouldn’t buy this

Ensure sure you buy the right size because many people do not always do this. To produce eight cups, a 34-ounce or 1-liter carafe is advertised. However, more than four average cups will not be filled when using this machine.

Unless you pour 4 ounces into one cup, of course, be mindful of that before making a purchase.

Please note, though, this isn’t the ideal French press to bring to work with you every morning. It’s more fitting to be put in a safe corner of your kitchen and used with the utmost care every day.

The good

  • Produces coffee that is flavored.
  • Elegant design
  • Made of high-quality products
  • A filter is included in the lid
  • Durable

The bad

  • Cleaning is a little complicated

What is the bottom line?

Not all French presses have Madrid’s spectacular finish, and many of them make the taste of coffee so good and feel so hot. The price is also set just right – making it as affordable as it can be. That is why we would strongly advise that you get this french Press. Check out our article on how to use a French Press coffee maker.

Self-proclaimed coffee drinker. I would, on a typical day, start my day by grinding my coffee with a manual grinder and use a French Press as a starter (2 cups), then a pour-over in the afternoon (4 cups). I had my fair share as a barista but I prefer to drink it, not serve it.
