Is it Bad to Drink Coffee Every Day?

Americans are notorious for drinking coffee every day, with some exceeding the recommended daily amount. But is it ok to sip coffee daily?

No doubt it feels great to sip that cup every morning but be very careful, as you might get addicted. And remember, overcoming addiction is not an easy task.

You will be more alert and less depressed if you sip coffee daily

Coffee makes one more energetic. This is because it increases brain activity by blocking and increasing neurotransmitters such as norepinephrine and dopamine.

Studies have also shown that those taking enough coffee daily are less likely to be depressed or take their own lives.

So how much coffee should you be drinking every day?

As mentioned above, as long as you don’t exceed 400 mg of caffeine per day, it is safe to sip coffee daily. Overall, if you don’t have a specific health condition preventing you from sipping enough coffee every day, there is no need to be stressed up by your intake.

However, if you have a medical condition, you are better off abstaining.
